The Trees

Just a quick reminder to all campers to reply to characters' bio forms when they are no longer in use as characters to let us know that fact so we can keep the collection up to date, and also to reply in the Faceclaim, Who's Who, and Cabin lists so that we can work as efficiently as possible!

Athea curled her hair behind her ear as she hummed.

The song continued, and Matteusz, walking through the forest, glanced up and stopped under Athea and Astra's tree.

As they came to the end, Athea closed her eyes. She hummed the last note and leaned back against the tree. "Panemorfi." she whispered.

Athea jumped and out of instinct, grabbed her dagger. She looked down and frowned, not saying anything as she adjusted her position on the branch.

Athea narrowed her eyes at the boy before putting her dagger away.

Athea dropped from the tree and inspected Matteusz face. Realization flashed on her face and she offered a small smile. "Greetings." she said quietly.

Matteusz smiled at her. "Well met, Athea," he inclined his head, not stirring as Astra and Alianovna also dropped from their trees.

Matteusz inclined his head towards Alianovna, who returned the greeting, then he stepped forwards to embrace his sister.

Matteusz withdrew. "Sorry to disturb you," he said awkwardly. "I'll- I'll go." He backed off through the trees, ignoring Astra's stream of rapid Polish that followed him.

Athea looked. "My apologies, sister. I did not mean to scare him off." she said.

Astra sighed. "All is well. He is just- he is relearning mortals. He no longer is of his family name, he is adjusting to being alone."
