Carter took her hand, kissed her, and nodded "yeah, let's go."

Carter smiled as he walked beside her.

Alec whooped as they left.

"We'll you're pretty cute yourself." Jonathan said.

Justin wrapped his arms around her.

Dawn smiles, "So do you know how romba?"

Emmalynn blushed a bit as they danced "so how is someone as handsome and charming as yourself here alone?"

Jonathan chuckled. "M girlfriend and I had to break up. She went back to Italy." He said.

Justin shook his head. "No. But I do know how to swing and how to salsa."

Dawn smiles then takes his hand .

"Why should you?" Jonathan asked.

Justin walked her to the dance floor.

"I'm sure there are other girls you want to dance with." Emmalynn said

Dawn folws and asks the dj for swing music, then ntakes her position.

Pyotr continued to pace outside until Matteusz caught up with him (a feat in itself) and took his hand, replacing his annoyance and jealousy with peace.

Charlie walked up to the door, looking effortlessly classy in a plain black suit. He spotted Matteusz and gave him a beaming smile."Hello"

Lidija rushed up behind Charlie as quickly as is possible when wearing strappy black heels. She smiled at Pyotr. "Sorry I'm late," she apologised, planting a kiss on his cheek. See smoothed down her black skater dress and adjusted the red headband keeping her hair back from her face with perfectly coordinated nails.

Ella wandered slowly up, her thoughtful face buried in a book.

Pyotr relaxed even more when Lidija arrived, pulling her into a tight hug. "You are always late," he teased half-heartedly. "How long did it take to do your nails?" he asked, eyeing them appreciatively.

Matteusz' face brightened instantly when he saw Charlie; all the waiting had been worthwhile after all. He stepped forwards and cupped Charlie's face, bringing their lips together in a short, chaste kiss. "You look very handsome," he complimented as he drew back.

Q immediately noticed Ella and tugged Skye along as he made a beeline for her.

Ella looked up and waved as she saw the twins making their way towards her.

Lidija returned the hug and laughed. "Not so very long." she replied.

Charlie didn't try to stop his wide smile from spreading across his face again. "As do you," he relpied truthfully, admiring Matteusz's casual but very attractive look. "It is nice to be able ro dance with who I want to," Charlie remarked.

Q stuck his head down and wove through the people, keeping a tight grip on Skye, who tried to wave despite her twin's insistent tugging.

Pyotr hummed happily, then caught sight of Charlie and Matteusz over Lidija's shoulder. His face fell immediately, a shadow passing across it.

Matteusz nodded. "I- I have not been to a dance before," he admitted slowly.

"Well then, may I have the honour of being your first dance?" Charlie replied with a broad smile.

"What's the matter?" Lidija asked, turning to see what Pyotr was looking at.

Ella grinned at Skye as she was dragged by her brother through the crowd. She started to make her way towards them.

Matteusz smiled softly. "Of course, my Prince," he murmured softly.

"Nothing," Pyotr hissed, jerking her arm sharply so her turning around wasn't obvious (or so he hoped).

Q finally let go of Skye to bundle Ella into a hug. "Skye's sad 'cause Lucas left," he mumbled in her ear as a quick warning.

Lidija turned back to face Pyotr."What is it, Pyotr?" She asked concerned.

Ella nodded discretely at Q in acknowledgement. She smiled kindly at Skye. "Enjoying the ball?" She asked to the both of them.

Charlie smiled gently back and offered his arm to Matteusz as the song came to an end.
