Event: Winter Ball

As the clocks wind back and the evenings draw in,
The cold winds surrounds us and the frost spreads thin,
Winter is upon us which can only mean one thing…
The Camp Half-Blood Winter Ball is here!

Welcome to Camp's very own Winter Ball! An evening of fun and warmth for all demigods, so bring your friends and dates along for dancing and enjoyment... We guarantee you'll have a swell time!

The room was lined with silver streamers, balloons, and other decorations, strings of fairy lights adorning the walls and complimenting the chandelier over the centre of the dancefloor, which cast bright light over all below, yet not blinding, a gentle hum of energy like the moon. Tables and chairs lined the walls, with many refreshing beverages and small snacks.

The double doors slowly swung open to admit the guests, the huntresses of Artemis' Hunt supervising and standing on guard as they weren't on Camp grounds any more. They seemed to fade out of sight, though, as their clothes matched the colour scheme, and their natural ability to blend in was in play as well. No-one would know they were there, which was the intent.

Matteusz hovered outside the building, dressed in the best clothes he had, blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a smart-ish jacket. Allie waited outside with him, fidgeting with the folds of her deep purple dress until he confiscated her hands and told her that she looked lovely.
Q escorted Skye inside, her blue dress matching his suit. They looked around with wonder and darted for the food.
Alec sauntered inside, dressed in something much like Matteusz', save for the darker colour of the jacket and jeans, and the more rugged appearance in general.
John had styled his hair, for once, and was dressed in a smart suit, and as soon as he was inside he found a wall to lean against and watch the proceedings.
Lila padded in cautiously, watching with wide eyes, a small portion of her light, summery dress twisting between her fingers.
Pyotr lounged casually on one of the chairs as if he had been there all the time, jacket over the back of it.

Hallie, Bennie and Annie walked in together. Hallie wore a light purple dress and held tightly to Annie's hand, who wore a pink dress. Hallie had somehow gotten Bennie into a nice royal blue dress, much to the girl's distaste.
Dom, wearing a dark dress shirt and dark jeans, lead Talia in, who was wearing a black dress. 
Brae walked in wearing a simple white dress and curled her hair behind her ears. 
Amity and Casey stood off to the side, wearing a yellow dress and a brown dress respectively. 
Athea stood in a corner in a silver dress, watching the crowd with narrow eyes. 
Jake walked in wearing a nice blue shirt and jeans.

Violet skipped in a bright violet colored dress and went over to Pyotr, kissing cheek happily before sitting beside him.
Nathan walked in wearing a dark long sleeved t-shirt and dress pants.
Effie was in a white and blue dress and looking around with awe.
Meeka walked in, wearing dark pair of jeans and nice black shirt. She sat down at one of the tables in the back.
The Nealson clan entered together. Elijah wore a black sports jacket with a white dress shirt and black dress pants, while Klaus donned a black shirt with a grey vest and jeans. Rebekah wore a brilliantly scarlet red dress and looped her arm through Kol's who came in jeans and a nice grey sweater.

Allie looked after Dom, a little hurt, but Matteusz cupped her cheek and gave her only peace instead. She remained outside to wait with him, though her mind still flicked to Dom occasionally.
Pyotr laughed, smiling at his little sister, turning to talk to her.
Lila watched Elijah from across the room, gathering reassurance at all the people from the Hunters behind her.
John crossed to Dom and Talia, kissing her cheek softly before looking at Dom. "You drop Allie down a well or something?"

Sierra walked into the room wearing a baby blue knee length peplum dress and smiled as she looked at all the decorations.
Skylar, wearing a dark purple dress, entered the room. She saw Kol and waved
Amy, wearing a blood red dress entered and saw Matteusz. She walked over smiling "Hiya." Then her eyes landed on Elijah and she blushed
Maya wore a simple white dress and stood by the snack table
Tessa wore a pink dress that reached her mid thigh and she stood with Sierra
Preston and zak walked in, both wearing black button up shirts and black jeans
Emmalynn wore a gold dress that flowed around her knees and smiled when she saw Preston
Zoey stood in the corner wearing a light blue dress that matched her eyes. She sighed missing Colin at times like these.
Josie entered the room wearing a white high low dress. She looked around for Chris
Sarah, wearing a black dress, walked in with Sophia, wearing a blue tutu dress and began dancing with her friend
Stormie over to Kira and Amber and began chatting with the girls
Ashton and Jax entered and began eying the crowd

(Matteusz is technically hovering outside but I'll let it slide; also, you need to make sure your signature is correct)
Matteusz smiled and raised a hand to wave to Amy, then turned back to Allie as she moved on.

Talia smiled slightly, looking around nervously. She wasn't wearing her mask so she felt exposed. 
Dom frowned a little. "What do you mean?" he asked. He glanced around for Allie. "I was so focused on making sure Talia didn't have a heart attack, I didn't even notice her." he said, immediately feeling guilty. "Wow, that sounded terrible. 
Brae noticed Ashton and wanted to talk to him. They had been friends once. Instead, she looked down.

"She was waiting outside, last I saw her, with Matteusz," John informed him. "Tali-bird, you want to dance?" he offered.

Violet giggled and leaned into her brother.
Elijah looked around and noticed the young girl from his cabin. He excused himself and slowly walked over to her with a friendly smile.
Kol laughed with Rebekah, not noticing Skylar.
Meeka looked around, bored.

Dom nodded and went over to the door, stepping up behind Allie. "Hi." he said quietly so only she could hear. 
Talia looked up at him nervously before nodding.

Pyotr kissed the top of her head. "You want to dance?"
Lila watched him approach with wide eyes, fingers shaking as she fiddled with her dress.
Matteusz tactfully moved away as Dom approached. "Hi," Allir murmured.
John dragged her onto the dance floor.

"I'm sorry." Dom said softly.
Taia gripped his hands tightly in fear of being up in front of everybody from camp.

When Elijah reached the girl, he crouched down to her level. "Hello there, I'm Elijah." he said softly. "Are you alright?"
Violet nodded excitedly.

Ashton looked up and saw Brae. He smiled softly
Skylar debated going over to Kol

(I understand that, I meant the two sets)
Lila nodded and stuck out her hand. "I'm Lila. Nice to meet you."
Pyotr swept her up and swung her over to the dance floor.
"Relax," John soothed.
Allie shrugged. "It's okay."

Amy smiled at Matteusz "Lets dance!"

"I know I said a lot of stupid stuff but what exactly upset you most?" Dom asked. "Just so I don't do it again."
Talia looked around with fear in her eyes.

Andrew walked in wearing a black button up and slacks with Alice on one side of him in mint and Emma on the other in black.
Barry walked in wearing a red sweater and a checked shirt under with Caitlin on his arm in white.
Jasper walked in wearing a navy button up with Carlos and Corey following behind him.
Marcel walked in stood away from everyone.

"Nice to meet you, Lila." Elijah said, shaking her hand a little. "Would you like to dance?"
Violet let out a laugh and danced with Pyotr. She saw Carlos and waved.
Rebekah noticed the guy from the border and smiled a bit.
Klaus noticed Caitlin and waved a bit.

Brae didn't notice Ashton smiling at her.
Jake saw Emma and went over to her. "Hey Emma. You look beautiful." he said. 
Casey smiled and went over to Jasper. "Hi," she said softly.

Matteusz glanced at the path leading up to the building. "Um..."
Allie shook her head. "I wasn't upset. I was only upset when you vanished."
Lila hesitated, worrying her lip, before nodding slightly.
Pyotr spun her around the dance floor.
John sighed. "No-one will judge, Tali."

Maya saw Barry with the Caitlin girl and frowned
Ashton walked over to Brae "Hey there Bear"
Amy smiled softly

Andrew waved to Brae when he saw her and smiled.
Emma smiled as Jake walked over "Thank you, you don't look half bad yourself."
Jasper smiled "Hey, you look amazing."
Carlos smiled and watched her.
Caitlin smiled and waved back.
Marcel didn't notice her.

"Perhaps later?" Matteusz asked.
