Personality: Elijah is the responsible one of the younger siblings in the Nealson family. He feels very protective of his younger siblings, but doesn't try to stop them from living their lives. He is practically the polar opposite of Klaus, and it helps that they came from different parents. He's mature and holds a lot of wisdom. He tries to be kind to everyone and treats everyone with the respect they deserve.

Backstory: Elijah was born to a young woman who died shortly after having him. He went through the foster care system until he was adopted, shortly before his younger brother Klaus. Instantly, there was brotherly love between Klaus and Elijah. Elijah and Klaus made a pact to protect one another. Sadly, Elijah failed his brother when their adoptive father started being him. Elijah always holds the guilt for that. In his early teens, he accepted his sexuality but was too afraid to tell his father. He kept it hidden for five years, secretly dating at school. After Klaus was sent to camp, Elijah came out to his family and his father disowned him, telling him to go be with his disappointment of a brother. So Elijah went to camp.
