I guess so. To me personally I like a good Arena and Gladiator story and all that but Hunger games was just to dumb. My opinion. I rather watch Gladiator 100 times.

First two books were great. Third one had to start twice before I could finish.

I liked it. The movies were very close to the events in the book however I have not seen Mockingjay part 1 yet but that book is not long enough to make into a two parter. all the producers want to do is make it into two feature films instead of one to take your money. It's not long enough to split in two.

I have seen Mockingjay part 1 and it was better than I expected. Not like the Hobbit, which was way too short to be three films.

Everyone said it was slow-paced and boring. I just think it was too short of a book to be made into 2 parts. Unlike Breaking Dawn which was long enough, and Allegiant may be long enough, though I haven't finished Insurgent yet.

The Hobbit was just stretched beyond belief. I have yet to see Part 2 of Mockingjay; I think they split it to keep the detail in otherwise it may not have made sense.

I'm liking the series although I've had to take a break from reading it.

I've never read/watched the Hobbit. Not a huge fan/

If you don't like the book, don't watch the movies. It'ss elongated with a ridiculous love story woven in.
