Backstory: Bethany grew up with an abusive father. He used to be in the military but was discharged after he was injured. He took to drinking to get the nasty memories from the war out of his head. He refused to believe Bethany was any sort of special and would often go out of his way to make her believe the same. It didn't work, and soon enough, Eirene claimed Bethany at the age of 9. Bethany then managed to convince her father to take her to camp every summer, so she could learn more about her mother and get away from her father. On her last trip to camp, her father was attacked and killed. Bethany fleed to camp and has been there since her 14 birthday.
