Mess Hall for Eating

"Well yeah. I have some things I have to take care of." Jonathan said. "Unless you two want me to stay." He said looking at Sierra and Zoey.

Jordan walked into the mess hall and got his food, sitting down across from Skylar.

Sierra laughed a bity "I think Zoey does. She just doesnt wanna say it."
Skylar smiled "Hey."

Jonathan looked at Zoey. "What do you say, hun?" He asked.

"Hi." Jordan said rather timidly.

Zoey quickly looked down so her hair covered her face but she nodded and softly mumbled under breath "Please stay."
Skylar chuckled a bit "You ok?"

Jonathan sat back down and smiled at Zoey.

Jordan blushed. "Yeah. Fine. Just curious as to why you asked me to have dinner with you out of nowhere."

Skylar smiled "You seem like a sweet kid. Plus Im trying to introduce my friend to some more people her age. There arent many campers as young as you."
Zoey was still blushign a bit
Sierra stood up "Well Imma go get some beauty sleep. Bye guys."S he said leaving the two alone

Jordan's spirits dropped a bit. He thought Skylar had had some interest in him. "Oh. Well who might that be?" He asked.

Jonathan. Smiled at Zoey. "And then there were two." He said.

"Her name is Kira. Shes around your age. Shes a daughter of Iris." She said then saw his expression "Oh... Oh gods, Jordan. Did you think....? Oh Im so sorry. Youre a sweet kid. And youre adorable. Youre just a bit young for me."
Zoey slowly looked up "Im sorry. Im just... really shy. ANd I dont know what to say...."

"No no. It's it's fine." Jordan said standing up. "And look, I appreciate the thought but I'm not really willing to be part of your game of matchmaker here." He said. Jordan didn't show it but he was upset. He started walking back to his cabin.

Jonathan smiled. "You don't need to say anything." He took her hands. "Isn't being here enough."

Skylar went after him "Jordan, thats not what this was."
Zoeys breath hitched and she looked at her hands then up at his eyes "Y-yes. I just... I dont udnerstand."

"Sounds to me like that's exactly what this was." Jordan said.

Jonathan smiled. "Don't understand what, dear?"

Skylar sighed "Jordan how old are you?" She asked thinking he was about 13 or 14 years old
"Why are you talking to me? I-Im so much younger than you. And you could talk to any girl. W-why me?" Zoey asked getting a bit scared and nervous

"I'm 14, almost 15." Jordan said.

Jonathan shrugged. "Age doesn't matter. Besides, I'm not sure who I want to be in a relationship with yet. I'm an affectionate guy with friends. That's how I operate."

"Well... i guess thats not too much younger than me. I thought you were 13." Skylar said laughing a bit
Zoey nodded "O-ok then!" She said feeling a bit better

"Nope. I'm turning 15 soon." Jordan said.

Jonathan nodded.

Skylr smiled "Well I just turned 16. So... you know what? Ok."
Zoey looked up at him "What is it? Did I do something wrong?"

"What?" Jordan asked. He was confused. "Are- are you?"

"No. Nothing." Jonathan said. "Just looking at those beautiful eyes."

"Ill give you a shot." Sky said smiling at him
Zoey couldnt help but smile. She got up for a moment "Imma go get a soda."

Jordan was hesitant at her quick change but wasn't going to question it. He smiled.

Jonathan nodded. "Sure." He said.

Skylar leaned forward and kissed his cheek "I gotta run. Come by my cabin later though. Dionysus." She said before leaving
Zoey went and grabbed her drink before heading back and handed him one "H-here."

Jordan blushed. "What. Just. Happened." He said aloud. Did he actually get a girlfriend, he wasn't sure.

Jonathan took the drink with a smile. "Thank you, hun."

Zoey smiled at the pet name "Are you always gonna call me that?"

"Hun, sweetie, darling. I rotate them in and out." Jonathan said.

"You called me princess earlier." Zoey said

"Princess, I try to use sparingly." Jonathan said.
