Pyotr jogged in and slowed to a stop, looking up at his little sister.

Astra looked up from where she was grooming Erivren, patting his nose before walking out of her stall to look at the newcomers.

Violet giggled and then noticed a girl. She quickly grew shy again and hid her face behind Pyotr.

Astra smiled at the girl, raising a hand to stop Erivren before his muzzle bashed her shoulder. "No, mellon," she murmured, but stepped back to let him out, catching his halter before he could go too far.

Violet peeked out from behind her brother.

"See?" Pyotr gestured as Erivren tried to unfurl his wings but was stopped by a sharp word from Astra. The huntress faced Violet. "Wouldst thou like to stroke him?" she asked kindly.

Violet stayed clinging to her brother. "Why does she talk like that?" she whispered in her brother's ear.

"She's a huntress. She's a lot lot older than us. Go on," he prompted, gesturing to where Astra was stroking Erivren's muzzle.

Violet clung to him, not wanting to let go.

"Go together?" Pyotr suggested.

Violet nodded.

Pyotr smiled and slowly walked forwards before stopping in front of the Pegasus. He reached out a hand and let Erivren sniff it before gently patting his neck.

Hannah walks into the stables. She had always been more relaxed around animals, than she ever did with people. She sees a tall Pegasus, that has the look of a Friesian horse. It was full grown but still seemed pretty young. It was a dark brown to the point where it almost looked black. Hannah was eating an apple and the Pegasus rests it's snout on gate, until Hannah gives it the apple. She leaves her hand there a moment after, and the creature rests it's nose in her hand allowing her to pet him.

Violet stayed close to Pyotr's side, eyes wide as she looked at the Pegasus.

Pyotr kissed the top of her head before gently taking her hand and holding it out for Erivren to snuffle at.

Violet shook a little in fear.

Astra smiled gently, holding him still as Pyotr gently raised Violet's hand and placed it on the pegasus' muzzle, stroking gently.

Violet braced herself, waiting for the worst to happen.

Erivren just whickered, pushing into the hand on his nose.

Startled, Violet let out a small whimper and withdrew her hand.

Pyotr kissed her head softly. "Shh," he murmured, stroking her hair. "Is okay, he will not bite, Da,"

She hesitantly reached out her hand again.

Erivren blinked at her, brown eyes watching her, whickering softly.

Her hand was shaking slightly as she pressed her hand against his muzzle.

Astra smiled as she held Erivren still, stroking his neck.

She slowly stroked the pegasus.
