Athena Cabin

Just a quick reminder to all campers to reply to characters' bio forms when they are no longer in use as characters to let us know that fact so we can keep the collection up to date, and also to reply in the Faceclaim, Who's Who, and Cabin lists so that we can work as efficiently as possible!

"Inside, most likely," Skye hummed. "He was working on his bird ring. C'mon," she grabbed his hand and led him inside, making their way over to Q, still holding his hand. Q looked up from where he was sat cross-legged in a sea of metal scraps.

Lucas followed and smiled at Q. "There he is! The genius of human existence." he said. He looked at the scraps. "Whatcha up to?"

Q looked up, cheeks a little flush from the compliment. "Working," he said, then refocused on trying to find something in the sea of metal.

"Need any help? I can offer muscles to carry heavy things." Lucas said and absentmindedly ran his thumb over Skye's.

"I need help testing it once I've done. Skye's refusing to because she doesn't like being dendrotox-ed." Q made a pleased sound as he found what he was looking for and started to fiddle with the bird ring.

Skye groaned. "Last time I helped him I was vomiting for a week," she warned. "That was only because the recipe wasn't right!" Q protested.

Lucas sent a playful wink to Skye as he waited for Q to do whatever it was he had to do.

Skye just rolled her eyes and went to sit on her bed as Q fiddled, then stood, fitting the ring on to his finger. "Outside," he motioned.

Q and Skye followed, Skye moving off a way to watch. Q tapped the ring and it transformed into the bird, perched on his finger. He tapped its head once, and a tiny dendrotoxin (tranquiliser) dart shot out of its beak towards Lucas.

Lucas felt something poke his arm. "Ow." he said and looked at his arm. He started to feel a little woozy and swayed a bit. "Q, what didyoudo..." he said, his words jumbling together as he swayed a bit more.

"Ugh," Skye groaned. "I told you so," she huffed, moving to catch him once he passed out.
Q looked satisfied with the results, and tapped the bird's head twice to transform it back in to the ring.
