Dawn looks up, "She has already been warned of the consequences if she goes to see Killian. Its up to her If she wants to follow the advice or not, but I know what is going to happen if she does. However she wont listen. She needs to learn that there are consequences to her actions. She wont listen to reason so this is the only other way."

"You choose some boy over your sister. Thats messed up. Family should always come first" zak said

Justin suddenly got defensive. "She didn't choose me over anyone. She's tried reasoning with Sierra but that's a hard thing to do. I speak from experience. She's stubborn. She's tried to reason with her but it doesn't work."

Dawn frowns and stands up, coming face to face with him, "Don't you ever say that again. I am choosing my family but at the same time choosing my boyfriend. You should know as well as I that no one should choose love or family. Both are the same thing. And sometime with both you have to let them make their own mistakes, even if they might get hurt. Of course I'll be there for her when she does, and she will, but that doesn't mean that I'm choosing one over the other."

"You must be blind, dawn. Cant you see it?" He couldnt believe she couldnt see that sierra still had feelings for justin

"I think we can all see what you're talking about." Justin said. "But it's quite obvious that I've made my decision."

Dawn sighs, "While I do care about her, I'm not going to give up my happiness just because she has a crush on my boyfriend, and if she thinks that I'm going to, then she is selfish and spoiled."

Justin nodded in agreement. "Family comes first but that doesn't mean she's obligated to give up her happiness. Would you give up Hannah if your brother had a crush on her? Didn't think so."

"Oh but you had a crush on hannah and expected me to back down. Or had you forgotten that?" He asked gettong angry

Avery sat by the water, hugging her knees to her chest.

Alianovna padded over and sat near Avery.

Avery glanced at the girl and immediately got rigid. She was nervous already.

"And you didn't which is exactly my point. Why should you have been expected to back down just because I had feelings for her? You shouldn't have. I'll admit I was in the wrong there." Justin said. "But suddenly your perspective is changing because it's my girlfriend and not yours so which one of us actually has the messed up morals here?"

Alianovna smiled, writing briefly in the sand. Peace, child. I mean no harm.

Avery read it but didn't relax.

Chewy walked down to the water and laid down in the sand.

Alianovna smiled again and turned her attention to the waves.

Avery tried not to think about the person beside her, but her hands were starting to shake.

Dawn frowns, "Stop it. Both of you. What happened in the past is in the past. Let Sierra make her own decisions and mistakes. And Zak?" She says turning back to him, "I think you should go."

Alianovna stood and padded away, the waves washing her footprints and the message away. It was like she was never there.

Avery calmed down and hugged her legs to her body.

Dawn waits for a response.

"Turning your back on even more family dawn. Remember who stays by you no matter what, kid. Cuz one day hes gonna be gone and your gonna come crying to your family"

Justin clenched his fists. "God, I really hate that guy." He muttered.

Dawn frowns, "Zak I really think you should go." She says and then turns to Justin, "And don't you get too comfortable, you are just as bad."
