Circe Cabin

Jordan hit the ground with a resounding thud. "Ow." He said, but he was laughing.

"That was fun" Chew said as he got up.

"Yeah. Minus the part where, you know, I fell from the ceiling." He chuckled.

Chewy shrugged "It wasn't that much of a drop."

"Yeah, but I still hurt my arm a bit. It'll heal though." Jordan said.

Cassie smiles, "That and didn't you like flying?"

"I loved flying... And landing on your head for that matter, that was funny." Jordan said with a smile.

Chewy chuckled "it was better then walking."

"Quicker too." Jordan added.

Cassie shakes her head, "You know you have a wide option of other girls who would throw themselves at you. So why hang out with me?"

"One: that first statement is false. Two: I like you. Is that an issue?" Jordan said.

"I like you and I enjoy being around you" Winston said.

Cassie makes a face and nods, "I turn men into animals for fun. Any normal boy would run the other way, but the two of didn't. I already know why Chewy here stays around, but you, why?"

"You have this quality about you... I don't quite now how to explain it but it intrigues me. I like you as a human. And so I stay." Jordan said.

Cassie shakes her head, "Then you're an idiot. I'm temperamental, I don't think things through."

"And? What's your point?" Jordan asked.

Cassie sighs, "Look some people are just better off alone."

"I just want a friend." Jordan said. "It's not like I'm going to ask you to be my girlfriend. I know how you feel about that kind of stuff. I'm nothing more than a friend."

Cassie laughs, "You know, my mother use to say to me that men say those sort of things to get what they want from you. It wasn't like my dad was trying to be anything different. His time just came sooner than most." She said as she felt tear run down her face. She put a hand up to her face in confusion. Was she sad? Was this sadness? If it was she couldn't tell.

Chewy looked at her.

"Are you okay?" Jordan asked.

Cassie wipes her eyes still a bit confused, "Yeah. I don't know what that was."

"Are you sure?" Jordan asked.

"Do you need anything" Winston asked.

He came in the Cabin from working out. He looked confused at why there were so many boys in a Cabin by themselves with his sister.
