Justin nodded.

Sam tore her gaze from the guy to her book.

"After shawn i dated this son of ares named james. He was cool. But controlling. He tried to make me get rid of your necklace"

Justin nodded. "Wow... Sounds like a terrible guy." He continued. "I really like that girl Hannah... But at the moment I'm doing some searching. Trying to find out who I am. you know?" Justin said.

Sam looked up at the couple once again.

Skylar cupped his cheek "i k ow exactly who you are"

"Really?" Justin asked. He knew she didn't but this was going to be good. "Who?"

"Youre one of my best friends and one of the greatest people i know. The one i let get away" Skylar said a few tears in her eyes

Justin wasn't sure what to say. "Oh..."

Sam's eyes widened at what the girl said.

Skylar wiped hwr eyes and looked away from him

"I-I-I don't know what to say, Skylar. I-I." Justin was at a loss for words.

Skylar looked at him "dont. I already know"

Justin sighed. He had nothing.

Sam watched the free curiously.

"Theres no chance for us. We didnt work thr first time. Whu bother trying again. Am i getting close?" she asked a bit it fiesty

Sam looked to the boy for his answer.

Justin sighed. "I'm searching for myself." Justin said. "I'm staying single while I do some searching. I've always liked you, Skylar. You've always been important to me, but you need to accept that I can't have a distraction in my way while I try and figure out who I am and what I want from myself."

"Im not trying to be a distraction. But what happens when you do find yourself?" she asked a bit scared of his answer "you know how i feel."

Sam watched the two, rooting more for the guy than what she now assumed to be her sister. She felt that the guy was very smart for deciding not to date while he found out what he wanted.

"It depends on what I find out about myself. I'll have answer for you in due time." Justin said.

Sam nodded slightly at this answer.

Skylar had noticed her sister watching the entire time and frowned. "I wish this conversation had been a bit more private"

"Privacy isn't always a luxury you get." Justin said.

Sam realized she had been caught and quickly looked down at her book, blushing a bit.
