Emmaline, a common persona of Avalon's, and in fact the identity Avalon made for camp, is, while sweet, confident, and bubbly, entirely two-dimensional, intentionally designed to raise the least questions.
Avalon, on the other hand, is anything but. She sees herself as a shadow of a person, a miserable, thin curtain in comparison to the rich characters she's built in her head. Avalon is mentally weak and her emotions are volatile, but she is a brilliant actress and hides it. When she creates a new persona, it becomes a part of her, and she seals away the character traits, losing herself in the act. She derives pleasure from these small things, and that, is ultimately Avalon's destruction: her weakness.

Looks: That also depends. Emmaline is a nondescript female of a nondescript height, with unremarkable brown hair and eyes.
Avalon, on the other hand, has red, red hair, intense green eyes, and facial structure similar to that of a pixie, with a not-quite-centered widow's peak and a firm jaw.

Backstory: "Emmaline Vance" was born Avalon Peters, a bullied city girl with severe depression, mild anxiety, and a tendency for trouble. She was abused by her father and bullied by those she called her friends, and at the age of thirteen, smarter and prouder than she ought to have been, ran away. In her time on the street, while mugged quite a few times, she learned to act. She learned how to take on these roles, and not just through stolen lessons, but her magic, manifesting in her. These lies became second nature, and they were how she survived, because while Avalon was too young to find income, "Julie" could easily attain a weeklong job, "Fred" could be a willing gardener. Somewhere along the line, she realized her abilities, which strengthened these personalities further. Soon, she regained the attention of her mother, who took her to Camp Halfblood.

Strengths: Acting is definitely one of her strong suits, and she is a skilled liar. When acting as someone else, her walls are strong, and not even the most abject persuasion can get to her then. Avalon is a highly intelligent girl.

Weaknesses: Avalon is very unguarded as herself, and will occasionally slip. Most of the time, she goes as Emmaline. As she has no friends, this makes her switching easier, but since she has no friends, she is an emotional bomb waiting to explode. All it will take is the right person while she is in the right persona, and just like that - snap. She also has extreme trust issues.
Another shortcoming that she has is that since none of her characters exist legally, if someone were to look any of them up, or if someone were truly desperate and looking, they'd soon uncover at least a little bit of her secret.

Weapon(s): Her magic, her mind, her wits. She carries no weapon. She doesn't need to, not when she is a hundred different people at once, a hundred different skills and a hundred different mindsets.
