Backstory: Mary-Sue was a plot device, born in the Land Of Shitty Fanfiction as a self-insert. Her birth name was actually Lily Grace Rafaella Harper Jane Jones-Daphne.
Lily Grace Rafaella Harper Jane Jones-Daphne lived out the first fifteen years of her life tragically. Her father died in a plane crash, and her mother was suicidal, not being able to boost them up. When Lily Grace Rafaella Harper Jane Jones-Daphne was thirteen, her mother fixed herself up a little, and was able to get the two of them by.
Lily Grace Rafaella Harper Jane Jones-Daphne then discovered she was magical and went to Hogwarts when she was fifteen, helping Harry in his mission to defeat Voldemort. There were more stories like this, where she went to Mordor and played Sburb and became a magical girl and falling in love with One Direction.
But as these stories went on, and the flames grew, Lily Grace Rafaella Harper Jane Jones-Daphne came to forget her name. She simply could not remember what her name was, and so she adopted the umbrella term to describe utterly perfect people like her, Mary-Sue. She went back to the Land Of Shitty Fanfiction for a little while, but then, in a grand fireworks ceremony, Aphrodite claimed her, and Mary-Sue became three times more beautiful than before. She was then escorted to Camp Halfblood by Percy Jackson himself.
Strengths: Mary-Sue is highly intelligent, and well-versed in all kinds of fighting and weapons. She can speak every language known to man, and challenge anyone in any sort of debate.
Weaknesses: Mary-Sue has but one weakness: logic. If somebody were to challenge her existence, by say, telling her that it was impossible for her to do ___________ because __________, she would turn into a ghastly, unsightly creature, shooting fire from her eyes and her hands until finally she went up in flames herself. The truth behind Mary-Sue is that she is not even human, is part of a different species entirely, of pretty and perfect girls with tragic backstories. To release logic onto a Mary-Sue is to kill it.
