Personality: Ella is very much an introvert and has no patience with social rules and norms that she sees no point to; however that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy the company of the others, and when she does form friendships, she is deeply loyal and will stand by them, no matter what. Being a child of Athena, she is very intelligent and can sometimes be impatient and rather sarcastic with those she thinks are being ignorant or stupid. Generally, she is quite laid back and relaxed, unless she really wants something or she sees something that she perceives as an injustice, when she will become very stubborn. She often makes herself projects that she will become totally absorbed in and will be filled with a quiet enthusiasm, doing nothing but working on them for days on end. She is generally a very happy and optimistic person.
Looks: Long, chestnut-brown hair, always worn in a plait. Green eyes, quite petite.

Backstory: Ella’s father died when she was seven, and her stepmother (whom she’d never got on with) refused to continue looking after her. Her younger brother decided that he would rather stay with her and together they lived in various foster and care homes across the country. At the age of 12, after being attacked by monsters for the first time, her mother met with her, explained who she was and told her about Camp half-blood. While she made sure her brother was settling back in with his mother, she set up a small business, fixing people’s old electronic appliances and setting up websites for people, to generate enough money to get herself to Camp. She has been at Camp over a year now.
Strengths: She is intelligent and rational and clear-headed in the face of danger, she is both independent and able to work in a team (if she respects her teammates), and she is good at finding the bright side of things and laughing even in the worst circumstances. She is reasonably strong for her size and is a good long distance runner. She can also fade into the background well.
Weaknesses: Ignoring other people’s advice, especially for her own wellbeing. She is not particularly fast and has a tendency to fade into the background, particularly in new situations.
Weapons: Dagger, bow and arrow, her intellect.
