-God Modding-
"God Modding" is basically the essence of a persons role play character having the ability of being able to do anything without having a limit to what they can do. Making them practically invincible or super and cannot be harmed in the role play. Pretty much making them a "god".
Say for example::
Person A throws their spear at person B.
Person B then catches the spear and throws it back at person A who gets hit in the heart and dies instantly.
~Person B was God Modding because they "killed/harmed" the other player without giving them a chance to react, plus I doubt a camper could easily catch and throw the spear back...~
OR::
Person A summons lightning to strike down on person B.
Person B blocks it with their sword. Person A attacks person B with their spear.
Person B once again blocks the attack with their sword.
~Person B was once again God Modding because they blocked every attack made by person A.~
An example that would be acceptable and NOT God Modding!::
Person A summons lighting to strike down on person B.
Person B blocks the attack with their sword and swifty moves towards person A to attack.
Person A was not prepaid to block and took the hit of person B, then regains their balance and charges at person B with their spear.
Person B moves out of the way but their arm catches the blade of the spear.
~This would not be considered God Modding because they balance out being hit and not being hit. This is what is acceptable.~
-Power Playing-
"Power Playing" is close to God Modding. Only, a person controls another character.
Example of Power Playing::
Person A swings his sword at person B.
Person B blocks their attack with their own sword, sending person A backwards from the collision.
~Person B was Power Playing because they said an action for Person A.~
How not to Power Play::
~Simple. Try to refrain from saying what other campers do. They will react in the next post to what happens so do not fear!~
